My Favourite Places to Eat in Nice

As I've mentioned, oh, a few million times before - Nice is my favourite city in the whole world.
I've been going there every year now for around 8 years, so I feel I have a fair bit of knowledge about the place. One of the many, many amazing things about Nice is the food, there are lovely restaurants crammed on almost every street corner, serving delicious food and boasting lovely atmospheres.

These are my favourite haunts:

This place is situated on the bustling Rue Massena, and it's half moon shaped pizzas are out of this world! It's a really traditional French restaurant with checked tablecloths, red wine in carafes, and is always busy.

This is my go-to for breakfast, it's situated right on the Promenade so you get unparalleled views of the beautiful blue water, the breakfast is always fresh and just the right amount, and Tariq the owner is probably the nicest man in the world! Don't let the exterior fool you as there's a sports bar adjoining it which looks a bit 'Brit-abroad' - this place is a hidden gem.

This place has a beautiful art-deco style interior, with a big feature ceiling. The cocktails are also lovely, which is all we had this time, but having eaten there before the food is really good.

This place is part of the same chain as La Pizza Cresci (they also have a third restaurant round the corner) and this one specialises more in meat dishes. The rump steak is incredible, as in the roast chicken, and again the atmosphere is lively and bustling.

This is a newer addition, somewhere we hadn't been before but decided to pop in for breakfast as an alternative to La Canne a Sucre. We had the 'Frenchy' breakfast which was delicious and well worth the money with soft warm bread, a pain au chocolate and fresh fruit. It's great for sitting and people watching too!

Most people have been to a Hard Rock Cafe so this needs no introduction. The cocktails are lovely, especially drank in the sun! I find the portions there huge in general so opted for a starter with a side of chips and it was plenty for me.

This pretty little wine bar only opened last year and the decor is gorgeous, it's really intimate and cosy while also being stylish and fashionable. They also do food but both times we've been we've only had drinks, which are delicious.

Do you fancy visiting any of these places?
